Thank you for posting a bio-sketch of Dean Cruz. However, there are some erroneous data. She died during the 57th birthday of Ric, Sept. 30, and a day after their 26th wedding anniversary, Sept. 29.

Our beloved Ninang and second mother in the Institute. We are truly sad that she passed away so soon. I am sure she's in heaven right now resting peacefully. Our prayers are with you. Sayang at di tayo nagkita dito sa Canada.

Greetings also to Dean Vallejo; my beloved Dean and kapitbahay. I hope you're doing well. Take care.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who prayed for Peanut during and after her battle with the dreaded "C", and for being there for us especially for Ric, Rina and Rica.

Alex, our brother, and I were there until September 13 and tried to be with her during her last moments but as stubborn as she was did not want to go until Ric's birthday.

Knowing that she has touched so many lives and that so many people loved her makes me cherish her memories the most.

You will forever be in my heart dearest sister.

Love,

Peewee

I just learned that Vina had passed away.
Vina, and her husband Ric, were my best friends when I was still working in UP Diliman Main Library. Both were very helpful to me whenever I needed some help. We ate together during our break times. I remember Ric and I along with some co-workers danced Hawaiian dance in one of our Christmas parties. And our teacher then was Vina. That was before they got married. Melchor F.
